1 – You can listen and get better
2 – You can ignore it and stay the same
3 – Or, you can be combative and get worst
What I’ve found is, how somebody feels is how they feel, right or wrong, if that’s how they feel, they feel that way for a reason. We can take defense to feedback and argue against it all we want, but it doesn’t change the fact about how it made somebody feel. So we must self reflect on how we can do better to positively affect how somebody feels. As with any feedback, we can choose to get bitter or get better.
